Plat Review
Description A subdivision plat is used to create more than six parcels. Subdivison plats are reviewed in two steps: preliminary and final. A preliminary subdivision plat shows the proposed layout of the lots and any roads. If a preliminary plat is approved, the final plat is prepared consistent with all requirements in the City's land division regulations and state law.

Decisionmaker The Plan Commission makes a recommendation and the City Council makes the final decision.

Appeals The City Council's decision can be appealed to the circuit court.
